SW Development Technologies Used by us

We in SoftDrom use a set of technologies for telecommunication:

  • Programming languages and libraries: C, РЎ++ (including Qt 4.x and MFC), Java (including Jetty for Java, Hibernate, JBOSS, Spring), Quartz, J2EE, J2ME, WML

  • OS: Windows, Linux, Windows Mobile 5.x/6.x, Android, iPhone, BlackBerry.

  • Database: PostgreeSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL 4.x/5.x, SQLight.

  • Protocols: TCP/IP, SIP, RTP / RTCP, SNMP, RUDP, GXAS, SOAP, TAPI.

  • Some tools used: Qt Designer, WireShark, SOAPUI, MS Visual Studio, Eclipse (just great for refactoring!!!), OfficeSIP Server

  • Other: Multi-languages support for User Interfaces, Accessibility UI support, Translation from/to 26+ languages.

  • Applications for Desktop IP Phones: Nortel, Avaya

In addition to SW development and maintenance, we do localization projects for computer programs.

RFBServer (SoftDrom's product):

  • RFB/VNC and Nortel GXAS protocols use to run PC applications on Nortel IP Phones
  • Support for 1300 concurrent phones from one PC-based computer
  • Web-applications run on Nortel IP phones
  • Phone calls directly from Web-applications

Server and Database for Electronic Information Tables (outsourcing)

  • Server R&D to provide connections with up to 8000 information tables, up to 100 PC clients and with external Database
  • Database R&D to support information for the Server
  • PC application to emulate Information Tables (for auto testing)
  • PC application to emulate external Database (for auto testing)
  • Assistance in collecting data and writing Technical Specification for the whole project
  • Assistance in establishing R&D and Maintenance processes
